I've just been looking for cheap ways of providing colour and nectar in the garden a bit earlier in the year for next season.
There are loads of tulip seeds online. Has anyone tried growing from seed, and how challenging was it, please?

Re: Tulips from SeedMy guess is they wouldn't flower for several years, even the little bulbs that form at the base on old bulbs take a while to bulk up and I know we used to buy bulbs every year whereas Daffs go on from year to year.
But I don't know for sure. Dance caller. http://mo-dance-caller.blogspot.co.uk/p/what-i-do.html

Re: Tulips from SeedThanks, Mo - I won't waste my time on that then - easier to get bulbs and seeds for other things.
