Lost our little Treacle

{cry} {cry} Found Treacle in the nest box this morning, she had passed away during the night. She was the one from May 2011 that Lizzie ( doggarden) named on the rescue day. I shall miss her, she was such a feisty little girl, but the past few days she has looked very much like a little old lady, very pale and just pottering about only eating and drinking a little. We thought she might not last much longer as she seemed very tired yesterday afternoon, so The Colonel put her to bed after trying to get her to eat a little something and she was still there this morning .
Sleep tight little girl {hug&kiss}
15 ex batty girls, 2 rescue jack russels and one very naughty Shih Tzu puppy who rules the household!!!

So sorry millie {hug} I can't bear all the losses this week. We've yet to experience it as we only had our girls since August but everytime I read about a loss it brings tears to my eyes {hug&kiss} I never thought you could get so attached to a chicken {hug}

They never stay long enough. But think of the wonderful life you have given her and she died with her friends around her.

But she knew she was much loved and had a lovely life with you {hug}
sharing my home with Kasa the Kelpie Dog, Trouble & Chaos the cats, 8 ex batts and an ever suffering animal suffocated OH
