hi all fell in the hen run i sild in to the coop and cracked my ribs had doc out got strong pain killers hens are all ok my back garden is so muddy even thorw it had been dry for a few days its rainin here again }hairout{ the weathers teribuil again anne

I hope you have a speedy recovery - Anne! {hug}

It might be a good idea to put a load of sharp sand down in the run to make it less slippy?

Oh no! Poor you {hug} I had a major slip a couple of winters ago, so I know how easy it is to fall. Must say, my paved run is completely waterlogged and absolutely lethal at the moment. }hairout{

I had all these great intentions about moving one or two of the slabs in the summer, but I couldn't shift them and it's not the sort of thing you can ask freinds to do really. Bit mucky!!

OMG {hug} I did the same thing on Monday. Luckily I'd left the little side door open so ended up head and shoulders in the run otherwise I'd have crashed into the whole thing and hubbie wouldn't have heen happy if I'd broken his handywork. I've got a very bruised chin and a scabby knee. Could have been a lot worse by the sounds of your injuries. Hope you feel better soon {hug&kiss}

Oh dear Anne, take it easy wont you. Cracked ribs, not nice. Did a couple of mine a few years ago when I slipped while walking the dogs, ouch! {hug}

Will I see you at Crosshouse? 2.5 weeks of my stookie (spiral fracture to the fibula) to go. Slipped and fell on a bank whilst feeding the birds, we must all be mad!! :-D

Ouch - hope you feel better soon - I've put pea shingle down to make a path in the muddiest part of my garden and it has helped a lot. Lets hope the rain eases off at some point.

Oh dear hope it's not too painful, no laughing mind. I make sure I always have my phone in my pocket just incase I fall over again
