Bare necks

6 of my 8 girls have a small patch of baldness on their necks! We do have a slight infestation of red mite, and wonder if this could be linked or is this due to another problem? We are using diatom and also have dusted them with red mite powder.

One of our girls has a bare neck too, we thought she was just moulting. One of our others has been moulting around the bottom area and now has quite a bald patch. I wasn't unduly worried about either of them and they are both still active and laying +f+
