well here are our four new girlies that i said i would show you all when i got them today,
all rhode rocks,
gave them all a good dusting of smite powder and popped them in the run,
they have all been snuggled up in the house for the afternoon but are now back out checking it all out this afternoon bless them )t'

thanks guys,they have the most beautiful green feathers on their backs!!
had to pick them all up and put them into the house tonight bless them,
as they were all huddled into a corner,gotta love them xx {hug}

no not yet,we got them yesterday afternoon and havent really studied them enough to get them all sorted whos who yet {rofwl}

Are Rhode Rocks the same as Bovans Nera chickens, I have those and they look the same,I love the colouring on their feathers,your lucky being able to pick yours up because the one I have won't be touched at all,she won't even come over for treats if I am there,its sad because I am used to batty girls who are really friendly all the time

yes they are hun,
i think they were happy for me to pick them up as they were a bit frightened as it was getting dark and i needed to get them in?
they are known to be a gentle natured chicken and very hardy thats why we chose them really )t'
plus we like their colours,and they are really good egg layers all year :-D
