Home for a lonley Quail

Post by jonnybravo »

Hi all
I have been on holiday and the neighbour who has been looking after my last girl has forgot to lock her up one night and she has disappeared,with the two Quails that were in the pen.
I have found one Quail but it is very lonely and it doesn't seem fair to keep one ,so if anyone in the Barnsley Area could give a young Quail a home I would be very greatfull.
I have had that much bad luck with the fox trouble and now this I have lost the heart to keep any more

Oh, so sorry to hear this. If you were in Sussex I could help, but I hope you find a home for her very soon.

Oh that is so sad. I hope someone can help. Not much use I'm afraid but just felt the need to respond. Hope someone can help and am sending you best wishes.

Jonny, I can't take your quail as I'm not near your neck of the woods, but I wanted to say how sorry I am to hear your news. You've had some very bad luck and I'm sorry chicken and quail keeping has turned out to be such an unhappy experience for you. {hug}

Perhaps post something up in the rehoming section too?

I am glad your girl has got a new home with other quails but I do feel sad for you having no girls now. Stay in touch with DTL and maybe sometime in the future you will start with a new flock.
