Ann nearly three months onAnn nearly three months onHer is a photo of Ann, she came home on 2 nd May this year. Not a good photo, but gives you an idea of how she is.
As you can see not grown a feather. This is one taken when she came home. She is fine, isn't bullied, nor is she a bully. Just a normal, if bald, little hen. She hasn't laid, but then none that came out that day have. Wendy http://www.busheyk9.co.uk

R.I.P: Ellie, Phoebe, Tikka Freshstart for hens collection point Aylesbury, Bucks Re: Ann nearly three months onI had 4 batties a year ago on the 2nd August (we are going to have a mealworm party to celebrate on Sunday - well the girls are i'll pass) and one feathered up immediately but didnt lay for 4 months, one has never feathered up but wasnt that bad when I had her so she just sort of looks moth eaten but she hasnt stopped laying since I get about 4-5 eggs a week from her, One took 6 months to feather up but she was my baldest and one has taken over a year to feather up and is now 90% there just round her tail to go. My girl who feathered up the quickest is now moulting and it looks like someone has opened a feather pillow all round the run and the other day she ran down the garden for her treats flapping her wings and there was feathers flying everywhere. Trouble is my one cat, Honey, keeps collecting the feathers and bringing them home through the cat flap and leaving them in a nice little pile in the hallway. Honey likes to bring the outside in especially if ive just put in some bedding plants!!!!
Re: Ann nearly three months onJust look at her little bottom, all bare - she looks just exactly the same as one I have in the freezer!

Perhaps, as the others have their summer moult and regrow feathers, she will join in? Helen xx
