Introducing ourselves
Introducing ourselvesHi there, just popping in to introduce ourselves (Mimsy and Grey) We thought it would be nice to join the forum together, so sometimes it will be me posting, Mimsy (the wife lol) and sometimes it will be Grey (my hubby)we have been reading here for a couple of days (wealth of fantastic information) We are getting our first three girls next week, their coop and little run are set up ready and waiting, they can have the run of the garden once the weather is warm enough for me to stay out there for more than half hour at a time without freezing my fingers off! we are already planning on a walk in run, a project for the summer, finances permitting. Looking forward to sharing being a henny family with you all :D
Re: Introducing ourselvesWelcome to the forum and good luck with your girls
I have had chickens now for 9 months and would not be with out any of them .They have changed my life. I would recommend chickens to anyone.. I have been with this forum only about a week but already the help received has been fantasic. 4 lovely girls~~ Clover, the oldie and top chick Bonnie second in command .new girls Bluebell and Blossom.
2 lovely new girls 19-01-2015~~ Chelsea and Ruby. Eva , Florry , Poppy ,Annie and Rosie R.I.P The key to everything is patience. You get the chicken by hatching the egg, not by smashing it.” - unknown
Re: Introducing ourselvesA warm welcome to the Lane. I've had my girls for a year now and everything I know about chickens I've learned from here.
As soon as you get your chooks, we want pictures. I am now a widow and live with my memories.
Re: Introducing ourselves welcome from me too. Looking forward to hearing about your chooks when they arrive.

Re: Introducing ourselves Welcome - they're a very friendly bunch on here and I have learned so much since I joined! The only problem is getting anything done because between trying to spend time with my girls and spending hours reading on the forum, there is little time to do anything else! (I do manage to squeeze time for my job in though!)
No girls at the moment but look forward to getting more in the future. Proud mummy to Hector, a Bedlington Terrier x Jack Russell
