Hello All. I have just been in the garden with the girls and Mollie was sitting on the back of Roxy as if they were mating. There was no aggression as soon as Mollie had finished she jumped off. Roxy had a shake and they all carried on eating. Amber.
Hi , sounds a bit like Goldie 2 , She changed s.ex without the tackle to go with it. Would not worry , it is all in her hormons , will not lay eggs a gain unfortunately . Maybe a top hen thing as well . Watch out she may start crowing as well , stupid sound but still the same . Bob
Perhaps Mollie thought Roxie would be a nice fluffy place to have a sit If there's been no agression and it isn't a 'put you in your place' thing then it's probably nothing. Or as Bob says, perhaps Mollie's hormones are getting the best of her - perhaps she is starting the henopause

Thank you for all your replies. Roxy is bottom in the pecking order with Rosie and Mollie hovers around the middle doing her own thing, she is the oldest so may be the Henopause as you say. Amber.
