What Fun

Post by tiggerriffic »

I know i haven't posted in a long time but I have been reading every night! I just thought I had to share this with you all.

Hubby decided over the weekend to finish turfing the back garden, and being the kind and generous man he is, let the girls out to play.

After 10 minutes they nearly had him on his face, everytime he picked up a roll of turf, off they rushed to inspect for worms and nice juicy goodies, then as he's trying to put the sand down, the girls helped spread it out, not quite where hubby wanted it but the thought was there! Then when the barrow needed refilling with turf from outside the garden, 2 red hens jumped in the barrow to keep him company and to make sure he came back, of course. And so it carried on for 2 hours.

It certainly put a smile of my face, watching from the window! He calls them all Doris and they all answer. Yet it's me that feeds them, cleans them, talks to them and lets them out. To be the popular parent :-D

I don't think I'd change my life now that we have the girls, just amazing little things.
