Had to do it twice.

Post by anj53 »

Went out to give the run it,s weekly turn out whilst they were out free ranging, got all the shavings raked up into a heap in the middle of the run went down the garden to get the wheel barrow and got side tracked and started doing something else.Got back to the job in hand to discover that they had gone back into the run and scratched it all back to how it was before i had started :? So had to start all over again.Don,t you just love it when things like that happen.Bless there little hearts )ang anj.

I cleaned out the coop today, and so they didnt keep comming in to help I moved all the snow from aroung the run about 4ft so they would go out into the garden. After a bit I went to have a look at them. The legbars were still in the run with their noses in the air, and looking all glamarous, they were watching the xbats scrating away in the garden, the exbats had dirty beakes and dirty legs and feet and acting like the tom boys they are :-D

I just love it when I use the dustpan and brush to get the shavings out of the corner, Alice sits on the dustpan and has a lift to the box just hopping off when I throw the shavings into the bin!
