This morning, the sun shines down upon our tiny little garden. There is green grass bordered by fence, conifers, a small patio, and a brick wall. The small plot of ground, where vegetables grew last year, looks quite good, with only a few weeds. The tiny, portable green house sets empty but will soon be lined with our seedlings. Things look tired and sad, but here and there, we see our garden awakening from winter.
We had such a nice day today. We started the day with coffee and muffins in the back garden. It was breezy but the sun was shining. We mowed the front lawn, fed the roses, planted a shrub and 2 gooseberry bushes, started the onion seeds, some basil and planted some flower seeds. I also transplanted some ivy that we got from a castle when we were in France last summer. It took well, over the winter and is now in front of a blank brick wall in the front garden~
