Managed to get some more great wood from e bay, 30, 6 foot lengths of 3"x3"
Described as reclaimed, may have nails, will look great planed.
On pick up, they appear to have been used for storing warehouse loads on, couple of small indentations, but totally dry, perfectly straight, and no nails!
For the grand sum of a quid a length! They shall be used to make a fence down the side of my drive, as soon as I find a cheap source of feather edge fence boards.

Cut some up to make 3"x1 1/2 today and planed a few up for fence posts, they look really good, easily as good as the stuff you get from bee and que!
Made a fair pile of shavings with the planer!

Got the fence up today, 3x3" posts were bolted to the walls with 3x1 1/2 spars between. the feather edge planks I had buy but were reasonably priced at 95p +vat, only needed 110.......
The new fence is from the end of the house to the gates. The gates I had made previously and I moved them to the end and were originally at the near end of the house. Make sense? Lol

Would never have thought of looking on ebay for wood Steve. Brilliant if you win and the buyer is local.
