HelloHelloFirst of all, hi, I've just join this forum. The main reason for me to of joined is to ask a question.
When incubating chicken eggs and you have set them down with a mark on each end, how do you turn them when I have read that the 'pointy end' should be facing down. If this is so, then at some stage the 'pointy end' will not be face down ? As always, any help would be most appreciated.
Welcome to the forum. Sorry I can't help as I only get Point of Lay hens, but I'll ask someone who might.

I also have a little incubator that turns the eggs (only used it a few days then gave the eggs to my broody). So I think they'll need turning like a roll, sideways. Before you start incubation the eggs should be stored pointy end down, but I'm sure they dont need to be like that once you've started - think how nature does it!

Re: HelloHi also have a think on what you are going to do with the unwanted boys that hatch.
Always causes problems unless you have planned it already . Happy hatching . Bob Re: HelloI don't think you've looked at the year of the first post, bob
